Whether you’re pursuing your Initial Type Rating or returning for Recurrent Training, our comprehensive program ensures you meet the highest operational and regulatory standards.
Course Overview
Our structured training program supports both Initial and Recurrent Type Ratings, and includes:
- Theoretical Knowledge Training (66+ hours – initial)
- Aircraft Procedure Training (8 hours)
- Full Flight Simulator (FFS) Training (32 hours – initial)
- Skill Test or Proficiency Check (as applicable)
Phase 1: Ground School (Theoretical Knowledge – 66 hours for Initial)
Delivered in-class or via synchronous distance learning, with Web-Based Training (WBT) support:
- In-depth aircraft systems training
- Normal and Emergency Procedures
- FMS, Performance & Flight Planning
- PBN and UPRT modules
- Differences between Learjet 20/30 variants
Recurrent training includes a targeted refresher syllabus, systems updates, and regulatory changes, tailored to pilot experience and recency.
Phase 2: Aircraft Procedure Training (APT – 8 hours for Initial)
3 sessions in GFS or FBS environments:
- Cockpit setup, flows & SOP
- Checklist use, FMS inputs
- CRM and abnormal/emergency procedures
For recurrent candidates, selected APT topics are revisited based on proficiency and operational needs.
Phase 3: Full Flight Simulator (FFS) Training – Conducted in the USA
Training is delivered on an EASA-certified Level D FFS located in the United States.
- Initial Type Rating: 32 hours across 8 sessions
- Recurrent Training: Scenario-based simulator sessions tailored to regulatory and company requirements
- Includes:
- Engine failures, rejected takeoffs, UPRT
- Precision/non-precision approaches
- LOFT, CRM, Night Ops, Emergency Procedures
- Final Skill Test (Initial) or Proficiency Check (Recurrent)
Each FFS session includes 4 hours in the sim + full briefing/debriefing (6–8 hours/day).
Entry Requirements – Initial Type Rating
According to EASA FCL.720.A, you must have:
- CPL, MPL, or ATPL

- Multi-Engine IR(A)
- ATPL theory passed
- MCC Certificate (unless integrated)
- Advanced UPRT (FCL.745.A)
- 70 hours PIC in aeroplanes

- Initial Course: 3.5 to 4 weeks, full-time
- Recurrent Course: 2–3 days, depending on operator SOPs and experience
- Delivered in English using classroom, WBT, and FFS (in the USA)
